Roosevelt opened in 1925 and is located on Racine's northeast side. Its mission statement says the Roosevelt "population will work to enhance a friendly, positive learning atmosphere with the community to strengthen and execute educational and social goals." It has dedicated itself to educate the whole child via inclusion of the special education students and presentation of enrichment opportunities for all students.
