McKinley, located in the center of the city, is 76 years old. The mission is to "develop each student's potential to achieve and perform." The program focuses on developing within each student the abilities to read with comprehension, write with clarity, compute accurately, know about the world around them, know their own heritage and the heritage of others, discover the interconnectiveness of the world, think critically and integrate ideas.
